Bill Aitchison is back in the Netherlands.

After a successful Dutch Premiere in Groningen in October (see previous post), Bill Aitchison will be back in the Netherlands from 2 to 5 March 2010 with his performance 2012. Visit the Koninklijke Schouwburg Den Haag website for all practical information.

About the Edinburgh Showcase and this blog

The British Council’s biennial Edinburgh Showcase has staged more than 30 productions across the Fringe from 24 to 29 August 2009. These ranged from young unknowns to established artists and encompass new writing, physical and visual theatre, live art, and mixed-media installations.

Up to 250 international programmers, venue and festival directors from more than 50 countries attended the 2009 Showcase in the middle of the world’s biggest festival of performing arts. Companies taking part in the Showcase were deliberately chosen to represent the more unusual and cutting edge British work that might never otherwise have the chance to be seen by this group of prestigious programmers.

Canan Marasligil, from the British Council Netherlands, reported back on this blog about performances and events she attended during the Showcase 2009. This blog is also being updated with information about Edinburgh Showcase artists who are touring across the Benelux.
